Search on the forums.
And i am sure you'll find it.

Search for Nickydude's guide. In the scripts forum look at the stickies and Bullshock has made a scripting tutorial.

Search for Signs IV which imo is the easiest way to make the text appear on screen.

How am i supposed to be a useful member and get off post approval status if everyone answers questions before i can . (that was a joke btw)

The above answers were both good, however i would advise you read through the whole manual and the whole of nickydude's guide, they pretty much tell you all you will ever need to know.

I am on POST APPROVAL status, so i'm not posting as much as i would otherwise

When i got off post approval i'll try to post more answers than questions
