hi, this is my latest model in the production line for fpsc. does anyone remember the game oddworld:abe's oddysee for pc. Well it inspired me to make this: a slig. The model will be free and fpsc ready, however i need some help with UV mapping just to finish it off. The basic model is complete, it's pretty high poly but I tested it ingame and it worked fine on my 128mb graphics card with 512 ram. The model itself took about 3 hours to complete, its only rough and has some imperfections which will be rectified. Give me your comments and suggestions to improve it! any help with my UV problem would be much appreciated also. If anyone want's the model as it is now, i can supply it in 3ds format if you want a go at it. Heres progress so far...

This isn't in a game bro....Belongs in 3d chat. You've been here since Nov...you know the rules just like everyone else.

Sorry, I disagree, This model IS in FPSC, and works, this thread is just querieing about UV mapping help becuase, as you can see, it has no texture. This doesn't belong in 3D Chat, I don't like the way this forum is run, yes, i've been here since november, yes I do know the rules, however i spend my time doing instead of talking, and i have put it in the right place. I think the Mods abuse thier rights and pick on people who may not be as good as them, Thanks to everyone who does appreciate what I'm trying to do. Oh and sorry Locrian, I didn't know you are a moderator, who are you to decide where other people's creations go. I would like to know what other people think about this, am I over reacting? Locrian may or may not be right, however there was no need to come across so aggressive.

does not equal FPSC ready.
FPSC ready models are in direct x format and have all of the files required to make them an FPSC entity.

Edit:Requires an in game screenshot as well.

I am not trying to be a jerk here. The rule in the FPSC models in media forum is very specific and there are no exceptions.
You can check with all of the others that have had their threads moved here.
The rule is in the stickies at the top of the Models and Media forum.

woa, dude.
take a chill pill.

I would suggest you get a little farther on the model before posting pics, more people would reply even if it was textured or something.

This is not a sig.

SLIG! "Hi, Wait, Look Out, Get 'em, Work!" Ah, exploded SLIG guts was the best, especially when they bounce off the screen. Abe's Exodus was crazy fun. The best creature to take control were the Glukkuns, those puzzles were so much fun.
