I just finished the NPC talking for my Fire of the Light RPG. Not so long ago I was making an rpg and asked for a team, but because I had not much of a game, no one was interested. Well, this isnt that game. Infact I didnt even use any of the source from it, but this came a long long way further. Ive got the map editor, the engine, the npcs, saving and loadings coming soon (Only like 3 lines of code each because the way I done everything) and the map editor is as easy as RM2K to use. In a bit I will post screenshots of the map editor. This was all made 100% from scratch, except for the graphics. I got them from the internet somewhere long ago. Thats why I need a couple graphics makers and map makers soon, though I wont need the Map makers for a while because the Editor isnt close to done yet, still need to add Warp Point editing and things to it.

So, enjoy the little demo here =)

That looks great!
I can't help you, but it looks like it could
work!

Keep it up and you'll have yourself a good demo. It might not have good graphics, but if there is a solid demo, more people will be interested in joining your team.

Thanks

Ive already added the menu system and saving/loading.
Also changed the background for talking, its an actual picture now so it looks better. Now im working on the battle system, wich is very hard.

7 secs to download... should be worth it, we'll soo see.

update: tried it, nice little system u got going there, sure the graphics arent all that stunning, and your imagination for mansters is not outstanding, but still, give it time.

uk.geocities.com/maniacimagine check it out. ill soon be formally opening it.
