on my joystick controller... the start button is button #10... how would i use this in DBC... like... this is what i am talking about:

is there a code like that that will allow me to see if the start button is being pressed?

Why do they turn against me? Especially when i need them the most?

Use joystick fire x(button #) to check the status of the start button. With joystick fire x(button #) the start button is #9 (at least it is on mine). All you have to do is enter 'if joystick fire x(9)=1 then do blah blah blah' in your program.

In case you're interested, here is a short routine to get the button numbers using joystick fire x(#):

@ Bit Rat

I posted last night, but it never showed up. I tried the code in DBC and DBP and it works fine. I am using v 1.13 enhanced in DBC.

hpfan273 Glad to help

@Bit Rat You're Welcome. That stinks that it did not work for you. If you plan on using DBC in the future, you might want to think about getting the enhancement pack.

I'm talking with support right now to get it updated (they don't have my current email on file)
