I have at present got an Nvidia 7900GTX.I am running windows Vista premium.My system gets a rating 0f 4.9 when it is tested ,with the graphics card and graphics getting an individual score of 5.9..Does anyone Know if this card suppots direct X 10.I have downloaded the latest vista drivers from Nvidia

No, sorry.

Only the 8800 series of video cards currently supports directx 10.

yes thats the only DX10 card in the world atm, and its a bad card cause the vertical pipelines dont line-up so your crosshair isnt alway were it should be, its always a little bit off.

just wait a few months until we see the 8700 and 8900 and maybe the R600 from ati


Mods, its 500x100, so you cant tell me its bigger than 600x120

and yes, the 8800 is the only DX10 card on the market at the moment although there are meant to be another 3 or 4 to come in the next couple of months.


edit: btw BIG computer geek, it doesnt work for vista , owned.

Anyway, as pointed out the 8800 is the only card on the market right now. This month we should see some more cards come out that do not cost a fortune to get. But if you can get one, then might as well

you might know that the x2900 also supports x10 and is comming in this month?

i will buy the x2900 because i really hate NVidia and always used ATI Cards

i onmly want to say this^^

I'm from Germany so don't say something about my English! Otherwise i will be a bit angry!^^
