I'm planning to start my own game soon. I already planned all the maps, storyline, storyboard... basically, everything is ready on paper. I just need to put all my ideas in the real thing. It's a zombie killing game (how original).

I'm posting this because i need some help. I'm requesting some resources for my game and requesting some suggestions. What i should put in the game, which tutorials i must read here on the forums, which scripts i should use... and also, where i can find some good textures and models related to zombies, blood and etc.

Search on these forums for tutorials and i think you'll find a lot.

there was a Horror Pack kind of with sounds and a little tutorial
i dont know how it is called but thats the best thing to start with.

And scripts their are a lot of scripts.....what kind of script do you need?
So i would say search on the forums.

And textures and models hmmm well.

If you want animated zombie models for free hmmm...
I think that there are some free on these forums...if not search on google. (i dont think you would find one)

And there is a blood pack on these forums.

Oh yeah the textures.....
Buy yourself a camera take photos edit them and you have yourself a nice looking texture. (i hope)

I think you should first search on the forums before making any requests.

I almost forgot.
Buy model pack 4...it has some zombies.
Buy model pack 2...it has 2 zombies.
Buy model pack 5&6...those have nice weapons.
For a good looking environment buy model pack 3.
And oh yeah buy model pack 1...for good looking
swat like characters.
And buy the sprite pack.



hmmm buy all the packs that are available.

I WANT PACKS.

Anyway @ the topic.
Maniac that is seriously impressive... planning out a game like that... but i would advise just messing around with FPSC for a couple of weeks, get to know what it's like before trying to make a game.

And if you look in the scripts forum there are lots of good scripts, and a couple of tutorials on making your own.


Oh... and you do get zombies with FPSC, they are in the scifi section.

But the ones from model pack 4 are awesome.

go with their advice. seeing as how you have it planned out all ready, buy the packs that are essentail for your game first, then the others. if your making a zombie game, then should deffintly get MP4. also good for games with civilians.
