For all you Half Life 2 nuts, you may know how to fly. By picking up a wooden palette and repedetly pressing jump, the player can fly. In FPSC a similiar effect can be achieved. This is how...

1.Make a simple scene with walls and put a dynamic barrel there as well.

2. test game and knock over the barel so it is on its side. Now stand in front of the barrel and pick it up with the right mouse button. With the barrel in your "hands" walk towards the wall so that the barrel is pressing against it. Now press jump and at the same time press forward. You now start floating up against the wall with the barrel still in your hands.

The taller the wall the higher you go. I just thought this was a fun little trick and wanted to share it with everyone else

Haha nice.

It's funny how only the Source engine, and FPS Creator can do this. I've never seen this effect in any other engine.

So...I've compiled this picture. Lol.

Haha.
Hope you get it.

oh,
and btw-
I like the way FPSC pulls this effect off, because the object floats into the center-but the source engine SUCKS it into the center like some strong magnet.

When arkane studios used the sourse engine for dark messiah, I have NO IDEA how they had a hand appear and pick up the object-and animate it to throw it. It must've taken hours animating each little object down to a clay cup! Haha!

uhuh......no....very much no...

X10 is 10 times better than source - for one source has had more exploits than people in china!

Um...source is better. No offense TGC. It can load up to 2 million poly's per scene, and has a Source SDK which is available to all users through steam. Which features the Hammer Editor, and Lip Sync editor (text and audio to..lets say alyx-speaking in mere seconds.) I could go on for hours.

Plus, the GUI is also cool. For it launches seperate .exe's for the menu's, instead of one, huge, laggy game. (Cutting down on lag because of constantly having to load .vtf files, etc.)

That's my 2 cents.

haha just tried it with a 20 story wall in FPSC; lol it reminded my of the feeling of going on detonator at thorpe park

EDIT: I made a little game which is only possible with this exploit Go have a go; it's an .fpm file and only uses stock media; so just open it in FPSC

1 hour Kalspher Demo soon to be released for public BETA!

FPSC-Source, this would be so cool. The reason valve would never agree is because FPSC source engine games would be everywhere. And what if FPSC games suddenly became popular?
