I finaly got my DB Pro today.. everything looks good, demos works with exception of 3d Video which says can't load video file?
And one other which says can't load music? (What's up with that?)

But the main problem when I try to load .X files that are not came with DBPro (like one converted with DB converter from 3d studio 4 .3ds files) or .x created with Unwrap3d - they are not visible or sometimes appear us just banch of faces???

Before that I used DB Demo and it atleast loaded .X and even .3ds but latter had no texture info..

Anybody know's what's up with that? Anybody uses Unwrap3d here? Any converter that works on transfering .3ds to .X?

Thanks,
Arseny

3ds are not working yet, only X
Some x are invisible, but they are loaded because if you try collision with them it shows that they are there.
you must make sure that all the limbs are fully textured and the object not glued to any untextured limb.
also, try to flip normals in max and export again
all normals must point outwards , or the face will be invisible, unless you set the object Cull (check SET OBJECT command)
another point could be that X is supported in the ascii format only (text) and not in the binary format ( i haven't tested this )
for the converter , make a search for a 3dstoX converter on the net or go to the Microsoft site and download their converter based on your DirectX version
good luck

make sure you have the textures in the same directory as the .x file
