This is just an idea I have and I know with all those copyrights I can't sell it but Michael Myers is my favorite horror movie villian.

Here is my idea. I was thinking of making a game where you get to be Michael Myers from the Halloween movies. For all of you that haven't seen it.... go rent it or if you can't then REMOVED. Anyway you'll play Michael Myers and get to kill people in areas from the movies and some not. Cutscenes will be clips from the movies 1, 2, 4, and 5 so far. Set backs are that I don't have a big bloody butcher knife weapon. The old man from MP4 looks like DR. Lomis so I'm good there but I'm just throwing this idea out here so I can see what you guys think. AND AGAIN....... this will be FREE so I don't get sued to death. Tell me what you think.

Well then I guess I'll just get their permission huh? And Underside I was just thinking about the people over seas like you who might not be able to get it any other way and I'm NOT relativley new here. I've been registered with the Game Creators database for 2 YRS. this IS a new profile and I've been with the forum a little less than a year. I'm not saying, " HEY! Go rip FPSC off some piracy site! OR ENGINE!"
I look down on stealing and I don't even use the program. I own all the DVDS. I BOUGHT THEM LAST HALLOWEEN. Before that I owned the VHS versions. Plus you guys know this is an idea that none of you have thought of and you're just getting mad.

I'm no pirater. Let that be known. It's just a fan game. If someone was gonna get sued for doing crap like this then why didn't Airslide get sued for using DOOM in her/his game name? Did Bond1 get sued for ripping the HL2 Zombie? Cause I didn't hear about him being sued.

I'm gonna leave a prototype menu screenie and contact who I need to.

Yeah, I see your point. Well maybe I wont even think about it then.
Still anyways if you're going to get it off the internet then get if off ebay or whatever. Stealing ISwrong and I putting a cd in your pocket at your local store and DLOADING it FREE is the same thing so forget what I had put and just buy it.

I'm not sure. Can you show me something? I was wanting to do a game with a partnership thing. I can texture, I can put together awsome game vids with music and I have fruity loops (a music software) and audicity and I was working on a game till my files were erased. Check out the INSOMNIA showcase. The game leveling kinda didn't make sense but I was just playing around. The D-Load is big because the opening vid wasn't packed.

ok. the following is mere speculation. Please do not ban or post-app me for this, mods.

You say you have Fruity Loops ($80+)
you say you have Audacity.

I think we have found a software pirate.

If you bought Fruity Loops, you probably would have done a great amount of research before you bought it, considering it is expensive. Through Google, in less than 5 mins,-I found out that Fruit y Loops can record and edit audio just the same. And, if you buy the plus package-you get a recording studio.

Audacity is free, and is very good-but, if you knew how to use Fruity Loops-you would realize that FL is much better.

Just voicing my opinion.

EDIT: In the post above, you also claimed you were not full of cash. TGC-I may be being too hard on him. If I am, I am sorry.

maybe this is why he recommended downloading the video off of Limewire-because he is so used to pirating.

No I don't pirate. I suggested that ONLY because I know some credit cards do not get excepted. It was my mistake and I'm sorry. Also I got Audicity first but then I got money for Fruity Loops on a Christmas. So don't go pointing any fingers unless you have UNGODLY PROOF that I stole it.

@Underside-

Do you mind posting a pic of a model just long enough so I can see it? Then you can edit the post and delete it.

You can download the demo for Fruity Loops.And while you can't "save" using the demo you can export it as a different file format so you can still save it.
Audacity is free.
And we don't like people using the forums as a chat room.
That's why they make e-mail and IM.
