Ok I just started creating a model in milkshape 3d and there is alsways one vertex that I can't select, move, or do anything to. So I deleted the vertices around it so it would go away. As I began to recreate what I had deleted, there was a new unalterable vertex taking the place of the old one. I need that vertex. how do I make it so I can edit every vertex, not all but one?

Well, I don't think it's backwards, but how can I find out if it is?

I started out with a circle and cut it into a semicircle (I needed to do that for what I wanted to make), and it was the bottom right corner like this

very rough and inaccurate, sorry

I think it's because the version I have is not registered. and I think it costs money to register it. oh well, I'm just gonna use blender because it's free, has a lot more functionality, and it's easier and has more tutorials that make sense.

Go for it. I never tried blender too much. I might pick it up though.

Well if you think Blender is easier, go for it, seriously, you'll benefit more in the long run, I too like Xeno here should learn Blender, now that I know Cinema 4D 6 sucks for game media export. (Seems to be R7+ is suitable)

blender is alot faster to modal with if you no how to use it. if you wnat to use blender then lern how to use the .x exporter becose it only works if you rig in a certan way, dont use modifires and dont use waght painting. there are hardly any tutorials for rigging, and even less for joining the rig to the carictor so that the joints deform realisticly. you would be better to by a book, ive surtched the net for litarly days and found nothing usfal.

but if you can lern blender its a verry good tool.
