Does DarkGDK.net work with SharpDevelop IDE?It looks like a good, slim IDE.

Read more, learn more. It says it on the homepage for Dark GDK .NET, that it is compatible. You might want to read before you post first, ok?

DarkGDK.NET is compatable with ALL versions of SharpDevelop since SD uses the .NET framework and compiler tools, which is what the DGDK.NET COM interop layer uses.
