LOAD MUSIC
This command will load a music file into the specified music number. The music file must be of the MIDI or
MP3 format. The music number should be an integer value.

SYNTAX
LOAD MUSIC Filename,Music Number

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.

And surely it would have been way too hard to look this thing up from the DBP help.

I can't think of the name, just try http://www.downloads.com/ or http://www.google.com/

However, it is more then likely that a program that converts .wav to .mp3 and vice versa will not be able to do the same for .mid so you'll probably have to get at least two seperate programs.

You cant actually convert .wav/.mp3 to midi format, because MIDI is just a note format...

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

There's some fantastic debates about this one. There are programs that claim to be able to do this, but the science isn't very exact.

Personally, I steer clear of MIDI anyway, because the quality is so dependant on the soundcard. Your fantastic score can sound very cheesey. At least with wavs/mp3s you'll always be very close to the sound you want them to hear.

Thanks in advance.

Probably stick to .mp3 as file size is much lower, although I have noticed that using .mp3 doesn't loop proper it leaves a couple of seconds gap between loop!?

Found a program that will do all of it! GoldWave, although technically not free it is shareware with no trail so will stay activated.

A fairly new music file format was released not so long ago, forgot what it was, began with a g I think, maybe it was .gno or something like that, anyways they were smaller then mp3s and were just as good in quality if not better, plus I've seen some games use that format instead of .mp3.
