having lots of files makes it look more grown up and professional for kids - don't complain!

but it can be a pain if you want a single file!

It's one exe, one setup.ini, one userdetails.ini and a folder with all the media you've used (models, textures, lights, etc...) You need all of these to make the game run.

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

Try making the folders hidden to add the effect of what you want

If you want 1 file, you will need a program like FPS Pack, Vishnu or DarkFact's Media Protection program.

use the search at the bottom of the forums to find them.

FPS Creator produces multiple files, you can however use some packing applications to make it 1 *.exe,Wich if you make it a setup later on,would look rather stupid.Anyway,FPS Pack shouldn't be used,it does not support save\load of FPS Creator in any way,so its kinda useless.

You could get FPS pack but it sucks - always did even when you couldnt save/load.

Get vishnu - From what ive heard, its great.

Pack is the only app that makes one 1 exe. Both Vishnu and DF's Phoenix, when it's done, have to save files externally. I don't think it possible to have a game that saves and loads with out some external folder to save to. Most big time games save to "My Documents/GameNameHere" for there save information, so making something 1 file is something not even the big boys do. Speaking from Vishnu's stand point, we have it in the same folder for being tidy sake. We could make it save anywhere, but whats the point.
