I've noticed that many of the dark basic functions execute at different rates depending on the machine. That is to say that depending on how quick my computer is, dbLoopAnimation will play an animation at different speeds. This is also true for dbMoveObject etc. Is there anyway to change this? Or to properly program Object animation and movement does one have to program there own functions that take into account refresh rates.

maybe use of a clock and wait to ensure that your main loop runs at a fixed speed
i've noticed this issue in other basic languages so it appears to be inherent to basic
but it could be that your overlooking a vital command
i'mstill reading the manual

cheers
