FPSC Classic Product Chat / characters starting weapons in multiplayer?

Ive been working on a multiplayer game recently and a problem i have encountered is, when i place characters onto the map, i cannot alter their starting weapon! or at least i dont know if i can! is this possible? and if so how?

is there no simpler way, i havent had much experience with the scripts yet, just random tampering

Notepad will open in fpe. An fpe really has no relevance to scripting. There is only one line you need to tamper with. It is hasweapon = "weapon location here" no quotes. So basically it will read something like this "hasweapon = scifi/tavor" There you go, that's it, that's all. [I think. I may be wrong with that.]

Put all the weapons you want under the player start marker/character.

oh yeah i tried it with notepad, wasnt a problem, thanks guys, now i have a problem with all the weapons i was hoping to use not having vweaps lol, its one thing after another but im getting there lol

Actually no to do this find you charecter and then go to single player then right click on him pick the starting weapon and then go to multilayer and it will work to pick it during game press 1
