Just use winrar to encrypt the files. But if I misunderstood you and you want proper protection for your game, search for vishnu, i've heard great things about it

Winzip free edition?

The Person99 awards go to: 1. Jack the Ripper for hardest crime scenes. 2. Peter Petrelli for most powers. 3. Superman for longest flight.

I don't think there are any free version for software like that.

Perhaps one of them will create a trial version which includes a watermark or something.

We have no plans on it(watermarking version) with Vishnu. The applications are to much work keeping them updated and dealing with the public to just hand out copies. We don't really need to advertise either. Everybody knows what applications are out there.

Woduld you like a free zipper that password the zip file?
I could code something up I guess.

Edit you can use 7-zip to do it too.

The problem with that is it encrypts everything...until you put in the password.
Once someone puts in the passwrod to unzip the files all of the files are open to the user to extract media from.Same with WinRar.
I want my games encrypted so that someone just can't open up the folder and steal the media out of it.
Not only is this the responsible thing to do but I am also making an effort to protect the hard work and media of others.
