Well, I just realised that it's actually a post within my thread not a generated banner advert..

In which case I'm going to claim that the Adbot spammed my thread and insulted me via email calling my mom a "fat horse"..... can a mod just ban him now?

We can't ban the Ad Bot.
I suspect Rick figured we would try it so he has made the ad bot impervious (read...invincible) to moderation.
That's nothing compared to the little April Fools stunt he pulled in the newsletter.
