I need a grass texture that i can use in a commercial pack. If you have made one please post a screen (with a watermark) and your email so I can send you the model. when you respond I will send an email that has my email address and the download for the model, then you can send me the grass texture. I trust that you won't take the model and not give the texture. The model is a knife with 2 textures (normal and bloody). They may soon be part of a commercial pack but you will get them first and you don't have to pay. see screenie attached for model.

Yeah, it all is free for commercial use, just use the FPSC grass texture, darmic, unless you want something different.

Why would they let you sell their work in a texture / model pack. It is free to use in your games. Nobody is going to design you stuff to sell and make money off of, when it is just the culmunation of their work.

Just grab your camera and take a pic looking down on a section of a grassy yard. Then you know for sure that it is totally licence free and can be used what ever way you want to use it.

Thats what I do. If I need a texture to be toally orignal then I use my camera and take a walk around and just take pics. I then fix them up in a photo editing program to fit my purpose.

The person that now knows the most started with many questions. Patients and tolorance are the keys to the passage of knowledge. FPSC is Getting better. Now if we can just keep the ball rolling.

I don't know much about gimp other than it's free and comes with most linux distros. If you are using linux, I don't know how to help you, but if your using windows download a copy a trial of photoshop and go to this link:

Heres some real grass thats free to use. Be sure you read his license for your self and perhaps make a copy of it for your game so you know where you got it.

Some one already did, and I am not selling their texture, I will be selling a MODEL (not texture, texture in the dictionary) pack and I need a texture to put on one of the models!!!

if your attaching the texture to an actual model I dont mind you putting it in your pack to sell.... Just put me in the credit's for the texture in your readme fie...

I havent tested it in fpsc yet but I made if fpsc ready

Did you make your texture seamless?It might be easier for you to just tell people to download the texture itself instead of the whole segment and then use whatever segment making program they wish to make the segment.
