I installed the FPSC Update and installed it. Afterwards I realized
that I now had shadows coming from all entitys. My computer isn't exactly the best (I plan to upgrade soon) These shadows kill my framerate!
Is there a way I can get rid of these special lighting effects without turning off the lighting completely?
(Yes lightmapping is set to standard...)

Lots of Phoenix to kill...so little time.

Only dynamic lights should make static objets to "project" shadows. Make sure you're not using dynamic lights, and try turning shaders off.

Use Soft Lightmapping. It shouldn't render any shadows.

I already tried that doggy and it didn't work.

Where is soft lightmapping MickM? If you meant Quick lightmapping
that's what I always use.

(Is there maybe a way where I can install everything from the update but the new lighting?)
