When i load my model (a 3d model of my churches proposed extension) created in CShop as i 'walk' around the building the places where two walls meet diagonal lines appear rather than a smooth edge. Is this a problem with Dark Basic or is this something i should be posting on the CShop forum? The attached screenshot shows the problem althought he image quality isnt great, sorry.

[Edit]
I am using a collision DLL by the way, just in case that has any know issues with 3D models
[/Edit]

Any help would be really appreaciated.

this is simply because two objects are overlapping. if you move one of them slightly away from the other then your problem should end

now i've actually looked at the picture, it is because the object is too far away from the camera. try using the SET CAMERA RANGE 1,distance command and experiment with different values.

But would i not then get the problem of not being able to see the size of rooms as not all would be visible.

But thanks and i will try that now

Just another though could it be worsened by the size of the model being too big?

If the model is too big then you could scale it down

yes. seems a fair amount better now. I will try scalling it down even more later.

Thank you very much for help. It is really appreciated.

If I recall from memory any X object scaled in DBC retains its original size for collision.
