Could you please compile the source code, and run it?
Then you will see my problem if you let the ball come down to hit the cone.

It isn't detecting collision properly (unless i am doing it wrong?).

The sprites can be found at

I think I know what the problem was, even though the background is black it isn't set as transperant for some reason therefore it's treating the black part of the sprite/(s) as just that, extra pixels and not setting it to transperant./(?)
Anyways, here is the source-code provided below.
(I'm using Paintshop Pro 7.0 for the images).

sprite collision in DB pro isn't pixel perfect.

Look on code snippets board for IanM's or Freddix's collision function.
