I sound stupid but...
isn't the screen bitmap 0?

If it is, does is it the screen and everything on it or the screen background?

I will Learn to rule 2d. Someday...

Yes, the screen is bitmap 0, but not everything on it. If you paste an image or sprite on the screen they don't become bitmap 0.
