I've been using a program called Anim8or, free software that allows you to create 3D models and animations. However, whenever I import my Anim8or models into DarkBASIC, (yes, I use the conversion machine thingy) it is in terrible quality. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

I have created a post on the Anim8or forums about this, too.

What happens when when you mix coke, pop rocks, vinegar, and baking soda?

Depends on a few things. If you export your model out of anim8or with bones, that might cause some trouble - DBC doesn't handle skeletal meshes (at least for animation). Also, make sure you are exporting your model as 3ds, and then I recommend using MS conv3ds.exe to convert to .x before importing it into DBC - while DBC does handle 3ds, it's based on direct x so you just cover more bases by converting it ahead of time.

Here's two links. The first link tells how to use anim8or and texture mapping and export the final model to DBC. The second link is an explanation of the conversion of 3ds to xof and includes a download of the conv3ds.exe file I mentioned.
