I have windows 98 SE. I installed the patch 4 and have the full version of DBpro. For some reason..everytime I try to save the source as a .dba file, save the project as a .dbpro file or try to make an exe file it says that it cant create them. Confused? Yes I am.
It worked fine on Win XP.

Try to update the IDE to the current version. You can get it off
[href]www.realgametools.com[/href] This might or might not help, but it is usefull to have the up to date version anyway.
Also, did you try re-installing DBPro? If not, try that first.

Whatever I did I didn't do it!

Hmm this is strange. Before I reinstalled I tried a few things. I got it to run the code and it seems to make the exe file. It doesnt say that it cant make it anymore. But then when i go into the folder to look for the exe file. Its not there! Whoops it goes about making a ghost exe file now. Geez. If its not one thing its something else.

It sounds like you have a screwed project file.

Try deleting your .dbpro project file and letting DBPro create it when you double click the .dba file.
