Dark GDK / Where to start?

Hi all, I just bought DarkBasic SDK (which should be delivered in the next couple of days via download from this site), I would like someinformation to get myself started.

I am very experienced with a C based language NWScript, are there any good tutorials to help me convert from that language to this one?

Learn DarkBasicPro through the newsletter tutorials. The functions are almost identical (in GDK, the have a 'db' prefix and no spaces) and do identical things. The GDK for C++ (not GDK.NET) works more with a C interface than using the OOP functionality of C++. After looking at NWScript, I suggest taking a C++ tutorial (http://www.cplusplus.com for example)just to get the hang of C++.
