In most games today, when you pick up a gun, the gun is flat on the ground, or on a solid surface. In FPSC, if I want the gun to be flat on the ground, I have to make it static. I want gun physics, which means that the guns stay at the angle they're at. Isn't it possible to make the gun starts static, but when you go near it, you pick it up?

Nope. The guns have to be dynamic or they won't work...you won't be able to pick them up if they are static.
This is a known bug.It is posted in the Bug Reports forum and it has been brought to Lee's attention.
All we can do is wait on the fix.
BTW I tried exporting a weapon model and laying it flat in a modeling program then importing it back into FPSC.That didn't work either.I think the rot command got messed up or something.
