That's why no-one ever tried to learn anything.. They always rely on others...

here is a screeny i applied it to a triagular box im sorry to say i didnt put it in a segment but you can do it yourself by selecting the segment properties and editing the texture.

what i did was i got rid of the glare and pick the best spot to extract the texture from and i converted into tga or targa so that you can assigne it without any trouble.

here is a screeny
you can do what ever u want with it u dont need to give me credit

Dan's right. If you tell somebody how to do it that's fine. But if you do it for him he will never learn how to do it himself and you are enabling him...meaning you are encouraging him to ask somebody to make him things instead of make them himself.
The best thing you could have done was what Dan (Smitho) did.
Advise him to get a paint/texturing program and make it himself.
If he tries and still can't do it he could post what it looks like and then we give him pointers, etc.
It is better to teach people how to do stuff for themselves and become self reliant then to do things for them and handicap them...
Just my two cents' worth...

Did you made that picture because you could make the picture better.
Edit it...(you dont need to have a special program for it)
You could use paint.
Resize it and make it seemingless.
Than use segment creator....
And your ready.

Well ummm I had an attempt of recreating that texture so you can use it for a floor. I reckon it looks ok, isn't perfectly the same as your picture because I couldn't mimic the speckling that good, but here you go if you want it.

if your using the gimp, to give it more detail, use the filter, map/bump
