Ok I have a resonable alpha for my lil particle editor... = So far I only have support for the DBP particle effects but you can still mess around with it if you'd like... v0.0.2... When you start it up be sure to either set the radius to 200 or change the color... because it will be black... allrighty heres the link... to start up the editor please open the system folder and start Particles.exe after you have started Menu.exe in the main folder... enjoy... =

Download... =P 1.06 megs...

Go here if you want to see what I promise by this lil editor soon to be an engine I hope (I'm reluctant to call it an engine until I get my own actual effects in there...)

OK.. but every time you change any variables, the Particles.exe window goes blank, which makes the program impossible to use.

As for the website, it looks nice, but keep the menu items in one place, having them flying about is kinda irritating.

Looking good - would be nice if the run-time window closed at the same time as the main window.

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

DarthPuff.. hello.

I used ParticleEditor. As for this, other people are politer than the made one. It is easy to use it when the direction of XYZ where the part of the hand of cut is comprehensible is displayed. When it can enjoy the change in Z axis position of the camera, it is good. Japanese Windows operated normally though it did not operate in Japanese Windows because the software of a lot of DBPro was made public with less than Patch3.1 because this was made from Patch4. There is no problem. I might hope making the software of other DBPro from Patch4.1 though I hope not to be realized.

It is hoped to apply a detailed explanation of the command by help no understanding of me of the operation of the Emission part. The reason for this part is that understanding is difficult.

I want someone to make DLL that converts multi byte font into the bit-mapped image or Plug-in.

Ah... Emissions controls how many particle emitters you have at one time... =P so the default is 10 ... 10 emitters... you can tell by how thick the effect is... frequency pretty much does the same thing with snow and fire ^_^... eheh...

Hey, darthpuff nice prog.
Question when I use the sprakler particle effects I notice that it only works on geforce3 type cards. Has anyone reported that the Sparkler effects don't work for them?

I can't understand that it would only work on my Graphics Card. Is there something that needs to be done to get it working. Here is my sample code if you can take a quick look and see if something is wrong..

Like I say this seems to only work on geforce 3 cards.
Any suggestions?
If you can try me Retro Demo, which you can download from my website and see if the particle effects work on your machine, I would be grateful.

It looks great the setup is easy and efficient to use and it covers a wide range of particle effects in realtime although for dbpro the particles system is slow and limited.

It works... but it would be nice if the menu.exe could start the runtime.

=\ That is easy but for some reason when I do anything of that sort it makes it so Particles.exe cannot read or write to files... ^_^ so I'm going to either load the menu into a .dll or do a shell execute...

" I have a devious plan"

Its called WinExec?

Easy function, only needs two parameters. Found in the Windows API.

OK,

In Delphi:

Windows.WinExec('System\Particles.exe','System\');

I cannot remember if relative pathnames are accepted. If not:

Windows.WinExec(ExtractFileDir(Application.ExeName)+'\System\Particles.exe',ExtractFileDir(Application.ExeName)+'\System\Particles.exe')

BTW. Your site's menu items still move around in a really gay, irritating fashion (grr!) - Good websites don't need cheap flash FX.
