I'm only curious..

Maybe we will see lots of sales when X10 comes out.

I sure as hell don't waste my money on FPSC games."

Neither do i, i make my games and put them up for free, and download games free made by other developers.

Swearing isn't allowed on these forums.
Neither is trolling.
Underside,
If you have nothing positive to contribute go somewhere else.
nakidno,
Since I think this is your first offense (and to be fair you were just quoting someone else) you get a warning.
There are people that are selling games made with FPSC.

There was 1 person who had there game in HMV apparently, doesn't mean it made any money, the deal could of been sale or return, so the pub may end up with a load of stock back if it doesn't do well.

also there is some other dude that works for a pub, apparently they are putting it on as a low price game.

Nano Games is th eonly person right now selling FPSC commercial games. They have a major publisher and have been featured in a newsletter. I am also working on their special edition title to sell here in th eUS. You cna slel a game if you are willing to tkae the time to make a good game. How cna you expect to sell a advanced game in FPSCX10 if you cannot make abasic gmae in FPSC? X10 has many fetaures but so does FPSC if you are willing to learn how to use them and explore the possbilities.

to make great games you have to buy and work.
You need as much plugins, custom media, characters and 3D models as you can get. Not to metion the FPSC scripts, which allow you to code and make great games. But I havn'e tsee many for sale. It takes alot of work. Anyway if you wanna make it will probably take awhile, and for FUTURE development you probably want to get FPSCX10, definetly.

to the ones thats trapped inside of you, this is it!!

I have a friend who actually made £205 off of their FPSC game. It was made in v1.00 also. When I tried it (The guy gave me the game for free), the game ran very quickly. He still won't tell me how he keeps it at about 75 FPS.

The game was published by Monolith.

The Person99 awards go to: 1. Jack the Ripper for hardest crime scenes. 2. Peter Petrelli for most powers. 3. Superman for longest flight. 4. "The Doctor" for best time travel machine.

I cant remember the name of that publisher alien8 or something on that lines (if you know the name post it, Ive forgotten it), I looked them over the other day and recognised them from briefly dealing with them, they are not a major publisher, they are a small publisher, Ive talked with them before about 18 months back, the project was too big for them at the time so that one wasn't for them, id bulked mailed without checking all the companies I was presenting to, they seemed pretty on the level, but perhaps that's because they are from the UK so one can click better with companies from ones own country as the culture and communication is the same. Though on the whole I don't like talking to publishers at all, I cant say they are my favorite kind of people.

If you have ever dealt with publishers you will find the gulf between a major publisher, and the rest is massive, there is a major drop in the size.

Monolith, they run the jupiter ex engine Im sure of it, they also published a few games I seem to remember, what kind of game is this when a publisher gives you 205 quid, what was that, the change in the publishers pocket from his lunch.

Whats this game called Ill check that.

Obviously by magic because the frame rate in FPSC is capped at 30 (I think it's 30 anyway). I have found when you remove the cap and try to run the game at a higher frame rate it runs 'too quickly' to be playable. So maybe your friend can come on here and enlighten us all as to how he achieved this incredible feat!

If FPSC is capped, then it has to be higher than 30 because I can get 32 and 34 sometimes... Might be capped at 35 or 40 maybe cause I never saw it over the 34 that I hit.

No, fpsc was written in dbp. If your game runs over 30 thats because dbps fps capper/ setter isnt "spot on" persay... it tends to go over sometimes.

In dbp you can set the fps rate. In fpsc they capped it to 30 mostly because fpsc is slo.w
