I've got a couple of questions which I'm hoping some of you can answer for me. Not sure exactly where to proceed at this point, I've been playing around with some of this stuff for a while now and its still not working.

So, first things first. I've got 3DWS, and I want to use a map that I've created there in DBPro. I've got the map all set, and I've exported it as a .dbo, but whenever I load it into DBPro, the texturing disappears. Not sure if thats something that can be fixed, but I can just apply the texture through DBPro. If there is a better way, however, I'd love to know.

Now, the real problems. I've got a tree that I've built in TreeMagik, and I'm having some difficulty with it. I want to use it while I'm building my world, but whenever it exports and i load the model into DBPro, it comes through with big black boxes around the leaves. Also, I dont know how to get the models into 3DWS either, as simply adding them into the folders for models and textures doesnt seem to work.

So, to sum up, here are my questions. First, how do I get a tree created in treemagik to appear in 3d world studio, and second, how do I get the alpha channel to appear on the models that I've made?

Thanks for your help!

There is, but I was hoping to not have to do it like that, because I wanted to add the tree to the world in 3DWS, and then export the whole thing as one big object.

So, I've figured that first problem out, but the issue still arises when the world moves into DBPro. The models look just fine in 3DWS, but the tree's all show up as black when I export the map as an object into DPro. No idea why the textures aren't taking.

The texture needs to be in .png or some other file that supports alpha maps.

Your signature has not been deleted by a mod because it was not bigger than 600x120...

They are. The trunk textures are in .jpg, but there is no transparency on them, and the leaf textures are in .png files. But its not like the textures are displaying without transparency. There is no texture at all.
