Heya!
I'm not normally egotistical or anything like that. I do FPSC stuff because I love it. I don't do it for props, but I have to say, just this once, that this is really freaking cool.

If you ever checked my free flamer thread, you'll know that I've dabbled in FPSC flamers before, and in all honesty, as a player HUD weapon, they pretty much suck. But having mastered the dual wield thing, I thought I'd give flame throwers a go...on enemies.

I rigged the Hazmat from model pack 4 with a flamer, and custom animated/scripted/decaled him.

it looks probably as good as you're gonna get in FPSC, and if I do say so my self, it's probably one of the coolest things I've done. If not the coolest. I'm ever so proud. Anyway, bear in mind that this is a rough rig and I'm using a decal out of Bengies pack, as opposed to a custom one, but hey check the video over at YouTUBE it's only TINY!

click here for video (youtube, less than 1mb)

Here's the obligatory screenie, but please, this doesn't do it justice..check the vid

Here are your props. Having tested the beta flamer a while back, it's gratifying to see you've gone all the way with it.

Very nice work.

he can't do that as the flamer is joined onto the hazmat worker mesh, so he would be distributing bond's mp4 media.

Butters, I don't know about it being the coolest thing you've ever done because you have a pretty impressive list. But it is way cool.

best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

sometimes as a special treat I take 40 winks in the stack of old tea mugs, burned out RAM, digestive packets and ciggarette butts, but most of the time, no.

I'm so pleased with this, I'm gonna update it to lazers too, maybe even some magik...

Anyway, Thanks for all the support, I'm glad you like it. I'll try and rig it to one of my own meshes, then I'll give it out...it's just a case of getting it 1.04 ready...*cries*

I know this is turning into a rant, but I don't know what happened recently. It was like, I just had this sudden amazing burst of creativity (not that all the creativity was amazing..there's alot of trash), but that the feeling of understanding of how FPSC works, and how it can be messed with...it's like Neo the first time he dodges bullets. I'm bursting with ideas! And it's frustrating having to go to work, and then not having time to explore the stuff I'm thinking up.

Anyway. Rant over.

I'll post back updates here k?

NICE.

I don't think it's the best thing you've done with FPSC, but it is certainly up there with the others.

I am envious.

I'm using Empty's MOD still. I found that alot of my custom stuff didn't work in 1.04, and I had other issues too. Plus Empty's mod gives me 2 alterable variables, which means I can play with more features in the scripts etc. COntrast will be the last project I do in FPSC, I think I might switch up to X10 after this...

Very Impressive

Wasn't Lee going to implement the extra commands and features of empty's mod into FPSC at some point after having been sent the source code modifications.

If theres any truth to that then maybe you won't have such a hard time making this v1.04 / v1.05 compatible.

Well done butters, personally I prefer the cloaking feature that you developed and released recently but they are both totally solid features

Hi

Awesome work as usual. You gonna market it later? Hey, I recognize that soundtrack on the video. Shows my age but I bought it as an LP new back when the series first came out. Fun flashback.

Probably not, unless empty sends a step-by-step 'tutorial' in getting it in the source. That's what I did for him for my shotgun mod. It's no fun going through several hundred thousand lines of code looking for what may be single digit/character changes...lol

Errant. Thanks man.

It works fine from any angle. Actually looks pretty sick from the side. Sadly I just lost my harddrive, so I can't even look at it myself, let alone make you a vid!
