Heres the mandatory in game screeny, and yeah the texture is poor because sketchup doesnt have a UV mapping feature, it just lets you use multiple textures on one model and FPSC doesnt support that

here is what i was hoping it would look like in sketchup, the model isnt bad, it is just the texture

and another one, XD Im thinking of realsing it if i can sort the texture out, it is ok for my second model i think, if i release it, it will either be part of a pack or just on its own on the forums!

It is rather low poly XD and runs well in FPSC, what does everyone think?

how many textures does it have?
If it has 2, just leave the texture= field blank, and make the object dynamic.

it has 4, and the textures save as a jpeg when i export it to 3ds then i have to convert it to .x format so it loses all that

i know, do you mean leave the texture blank in the fpe? because if i was to do that and use it as a dynamic entitie, i dont see how i could use more than one texture on it still

I dont know the model itself looks to nice for a damaged building.
It doesnt have any burn marks on the brick itself or more damaged bricks.
Nice idea though.
But it needs a little more work.

yeah thats the problem lol the texture, the model i dont think is too bad, i mean you can see from the sketchup pictures how i was roughly hoping it would look texture wise, however i cant uv map it, so i cant make the texture i was hoping for =(

Dont take this offensive.
But you should follow a tutorial or something.

Post the building over here in OBJ format i'll see what i can do.

If you make that dynamic you cant go inside it. So a little planing when making something like this will go a long ways. If you need say 4 textures, why not condense all the maps to say one 1024x1024 map. Just taking each of the 4 images you previously used and making them all into one map. It's no bigger file size for one 1024 then it is four 512's.

lol yeah, however, the model isnt actually mapped at all, ive only been modelling 3 days lol i dont know how to do that, i really dont think you can on sketchup, its only really when i convert it to .x format that the texture fails

Really? I know this was often the case with some things but isn't there a collision mode that fixes that? Then again, the poly-based collision may be reserved for level only...

Airslide, it's the same reason you don't see a closed in elevator. You can get on a dynamic object like the lift...But can't get "in" one. Or I'd not been able too along with the others that have tried. Collision modes didn't change anything. I should also back this up by saying these test were from much earlier versions. If somethings changed I'd love to know myself.
