Looks really cool!

Can we see some more angles? Have you modeled the back side?

BTW, I like some of the reflections on the second shader, but I like the darker ligthing and granular appearance in general in the first pic.

Could you show post a pic with Evolved's shader but with the lighting of the first pic?

Really nice!

I honestly like both, and would have a hard time in picking which looks best.

It would depend on the material I guess...

I like the detailed reflection with Evolved's (it looks more like a metalic material & finsih), and I like the granular appearance (you can almost feel the laquer on the wood grain) of the original.

Plus the orange-peel look of the gold in the original, makes it look like the shield was forged by hand.

Right??
