If I model in google sketchup how do i make it FPSC Ready?

You will need to find a way to export it either to 3ds or .x, or use SEOConv http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_read&i=31

Anyway If you convert your model to 3ds -> you can use dbconv to convert it into a .X file then use the Entity Maker from FPSC's website to create the entity (or segment maker from their website).

if you can export from sketchup as an .OBJ you can import that into 3ds and simply re-apply a shader to it in 3ds and export as .x ( imported obj files retain all their UV mapping information.) I never heard of "sketchup" but this is the process I use - I work in Maya because I hate 3Ds - so model and texture in Mya and use 3ds simply as a means to an end - a portal to the .x world of FPSC via the Panda exporter. Of course this is only useful for static objects. If you are talking about a character then OBJ is not going to work as far as retaining bones or animation info - you'd have to bone and animate in 3ds ( which also sucks)

To export into anything else besides Sketchup's own format you must own the professional version ($600).

Otherwise use SEOConv to convert the sketchup file into a dbo file, then you have to use darkbasic to put that into .X file format.

The ConveSeo is sold single or come including in some program of The GAmeCreators, because is more cheap to buy everything in one.

It is better if it comes including in some program from these, for example in Dark Basic Pro.
