okay, I have this line:


in my code.

However, I understand that the 'texture backdrop' command is now obsolete.

So, can anybody tell me which command/set of commands to use instead to make the backdrop image 9?

You could just use the paste image command to make a backdrop

but then wouldn't that mean I'd have to re-paste the image each time I use the 'cls' command?

And that doesn't necessarily mean that the image will always be behind everything else...


Yeah, I did try that, but the very second I shot a shell from my tank the backdrop went black. And I'm thinking it would be a lot easier to just set the backdrop to the image, as opposed to a black screen.

You could just paste the image in place of the CLS or texture a Plain, scale it and place it at a Z co-ord so it's behind the 'action'.
