No, not in Patch 4. There are rumours that all object formats are back in for Patch 4.1 (Released later tonight) - but if this is true or not, I don't know.

Do you want Windows menus in your DBP apps? - Get my plugin: http://snow.prohosting.com/~clone99/downloads/tpc_menus_102.zip

I wasn't aware the trial version was updated to include the patch 4 fixes!

And aren't the model format additions pencilled in for patch 5?

The trial will be updated again when Patch 5 is released.
Some of the old formats are being included in patch 4.1.

This is already publically available information.

I'm covered by the DBDN NDA, so I can say no more.

Dazzy is right, the trial version doesn't include v4 - so all 3D formats are in. 4.1 will be released in a few hours and see's the re-introduction of the MD* model formats.

Cheers,

Rich

I have installed patch 4.1 and I still can't get .3ds to load. I've heard some people have the ATI loading type problem with 3ds and on my system, the program just exits.

Send an example of one of your models (with loading code) to lee - just make sure it's not you first
