War of Death is a new FPSC game developed by GideonB Ltd. It is a game where everything is turned into a deadly race against destroying some deadly people. I have just started creating it but using the sci-fi and ww2 models together and then switching between two timelines of ww2 and sci-fi and then meet up to destroy one enemy: the undead. In my next post i will upload some pictures and also hopefully have some more progress done.

Then i'll tell you this,This "World" as you seem to prefer to call it,Is quite harsh.People like it or dont like it.If you post too many crap people wont like whatever you make.If you post good stuff,People will respect you more.

Trust me,if you post that on the FPSCreator forums you'll get a way harder and worse response then the one i gave.

That's not very constructive critisism. Is it?

It's people like you that piss me off Prince, because you claim this "World" is harsh, but that's because people like you hang around here. I suggest if you want any good critisism of your work from me you're going to have to change your attitude a little.

Lil Gaming man,

They're right, you do have to wrong board. But never mind. Good luck with your game

Uhm,if you have to see about 20 topics like this a month, would you like to type out the same thing over and over and over?

Everyone thinks that when they get FPSC,they can do EVERYTHING!some guy even tried to make an MMORPG with it...

I could give constructive critism, but look at that screenshot...is there ANYTHING that is good at it?

1)Too big room
2)Sci-Fi gun in a horror game?
3)Lightmapping?
4)Decoration?

I dont care people like me piss you off,i just want that people stop posting theyr "UbEr L33t T3h w00t13z" games, and actualy let them do some work at it instead of just working 3 minutes and call it a game.

How big is too big? Big enough so you dont like it?

Quote: "2)Sci-Fi gun in a horror game?"

Oh please. You're can't possibly be basing your judgement on this right? TBH, I don't even see anything "horror" about it, and he didn't say it was a horror game. Looks totally Sci-Fi to me.

Quote: "
3)Lightmapping?
4)Decoration?
"

I don't worry about lightmapping and decoration in alot of my games during the work in progress. Are you gonna tell me my games are bad?

Quote: ""UbEr L33t T3h w00t13z""

Now you are taking it too far. Lil Gaming Man did nothing to insult you, so you shouldn't do it back. Besides, being so stereotypical wont get you anywhere.

I could spend ages describing the point in Click 'n' Drag game creators, but I'm sure you're (hopefully) smart enough to figure it out for yourself.

On that note, perhaps some criticism is fine for these forums? I believe that a quick javascript or php code would do the trick for signature images being too large. They could simply be scaled to the correct size.

@Lil Gaming Man
Keep up the work on the game, but please explain more about it.

Cheers,

God its seems the FPSCreator people are a bit up tight then, I mean if they're going to flame this guy in the boards. Come on guys, its a forum, you'll get simple wips, you'll get ambitious people who may be ahead of themselves...Tolerance is what is needed. Good luck with the game though LGM

I dont care this Slap,im just getting annoyed by all those newcomers who will post theyr "games",and about that horror,Read the FPSC showcase thread.

With too big room i meant to big for the amount of stuff in it...4-5 segments with only an enemy character is just to much.

And as it seems i'm not even allowed to speak freely about what I think about all those newcomers who call everything a game.(Those darn things where not only pointed at him,but loads of others.)Good luck with your forums then,I was going to leave anyway. And now im sure about it.

Freedom of speach is a damn right you know?

P.S.,you just made my day even worse then it was...

Prince Of Darkness' post was perhaps a bit rude, but not worthy of a noob slap. It hovers at the edge of acceptability, but is there nonetheless and should not be punished. Unless he is on some other type of 'probation', I think that lifting the noob slap and observing him a bit closer for a while would be the better solution.

@Prince Of Darkness -
Don't make it worse, your reply is angry and rambling.

Quote: "1)Too big room"

While vague and undescriptive, I see what he is saying, and I agree. This WIP could certainly turn into something great, but it is too early to be posting about it at this point in its development.

i know its over and done with, but i just wanted to remind prince. Weren't you new at one point as well? I'm sure you had questions and ambitions with how to code properly, don't be so mean, i think a polite request to move the topic would have sufficed.

We need to get along, there's no use in abusing one another right?

its a privilege not a given right to be here.

perhaps next time you wont post vulgarity, and consider peoples work to be crap.
as for making your day, imagine how the other developer feels.

I don't know if there is any point in doing this but maybe the site could be changed to state that this is a DB only W.I.P. board in the description. I know people are supposed to read the rules before posting but It might help to keep down some of these posts if It stated it in the description.

Uhm,they may slap me of they think its needed.I dont mind it.Its theyr choice, not mine.

Hehe, maybe i was a little overreacting...But i mean,on the FPS Creator forums the same post wouldn't be giving me a noobslap, they additude of people against most of these topics,Is like i posted.

Quote: "i know its over and done with, but i just wanted to remind prince. Weren't you new at one point as well? I'm sure you had questions and ambitions with how to code properly, don't be so mean"

Hey,if you call that mean, you should see how the FPSC dudes handle all topics about source updates and new features.

Quote: "not in a corporate international zone, thanks.

If you'd explain that i'd be happy. As id dont get it.

Quote: "perhaps next time you wont post vulgarity, and consider peoples work to be crap.

Haha,im getting these kind of responses on my work at school everyday, while they make no sense to me,as im the best in my class...So i know how it feels,BUT it helps me to focus on my work to perfect it to details.

As for what i've posted,I dont know why i made that last post.I think i was just completely out of control,So im sorry about that one.

And against Lil Gaming Man :

Learn FPSC details with lightning and scenery before making a WIP post, people will then like you more for trying to learn to use the software before making WIP posts,AND they might help you along the road.

Free speech? Well here ... http://www.myfreeforum.org/ ... create your own forum and say what the hell you like as often as you like

While you are here on these privately owned, non-governmental forums, you will watch your language and comply with the acceptable usage policy

I don't understand.I was not aware that the WIP board was for DB/DBP only.I was under the impression it was a WIP board for anything made with TGC's products.
As far as the FPSC forums go the original poster of this thread did post in the FPSC Showcase forum (I could go into how many people actually don't understand the concept of the Showcase forum but that is for another time).

What have human rights got to do with using these forums?

God, I hate the 'free speech' defence we get when someone breaks the AUP.

Free speech is a right offered to you by your government and in regard to your government - basically, they say that you can say what you want to them, and they won't do anything to stop you.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE PRIVATE FORUMS WHERE YOU ARE A GUEST!

If we don't like what you say, then we have the right to revoke your invitation. Read the AUP. Follow it, or go away.

@Fredp,
I agree. If someone wants to post a WIP from FPSC, there's no reason they shouldn't post here.

No forums you will ever be a member of will allow free speech... ever. All forums (unless you have your own) will censor you or moderate you if necessary. The right to free speech does not extend to private forums.TGC paid for these forums and they can do what they want.

Ah, defence type 2 - the follow-on from the 'free speech' defence.

'I allow it on my forums, so I should be allowed to do it on yours too'

Guess what? No you can't.

Let's try stating it again, simply:

If you choose to post on our forums, then you will abide by our rules. If you don't abide by our rules, then you will be banned.
