Dark GDK / Problems with terrains - Most faces are invisible

When I use any of my terrain height files, most of the terrain is invisible. I can still travel on the invisible terrain; I just can't see it. The GDK needs a way to fix the normals of the terrain as I like the idea of being able to create dynamic terrains so this bug really needs to be fixed. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
