I made this for use in FPSC but i dont know how to UV map it so its really no use to me anymore, so if anyone wants it on this forum they are more than welcome to it XD

Here is a screenshot of it in Sketchup when i made it

no that was just for one model, i made a load of models on the free version of Sketchup, then downloaded the trial pro version and converted them all, it gives me 8 hours so thats plenty of time to get all the stuff i wanted done for now, i may have to invest in the pro version though, even if it is £400

I would just go with a different app if I were you, you could get much better apps for that price than sketchup.

yeah i know, but sketchup is soooo easy to use, though i cant UV map in it for some reason :S

3D World Studio is awesome, it can generate lightmaps, make terrains and edit them etc etc. At the moment it's only $80 for the software download version, but if I understand correctly the price will shoot way up when version 6 comes out. Owners of version 5 will get a large discount

conver it to x format, there is an x format version on the forums

i'm going to guess that sketchup is intended for use mainly as modelling, not texturing, so I wouldn't think UV mapping would be possible in it. I would suggest using a seperate program for texture mapping, suggest as LithUnwrap (it might go by a different name now though). it's free, and it's quite good.

it is possible to export it then uv map it in Milkshape or something but i dont know how to do that lol
