Ok .... I bought and downloaded FPSC, downloaded the 1.05 RC2 patch (and yes, I do have the latest DirectX)

However, when I built and played the game (I built all the demo levels, just to test out build game) it glitched.... The enemies only occasionally appeared, I could see the Win zone as a very thin white rectangle, and all the doors and windows were compacted into strange shapes (see screeny), and a lot of the textures were missing or wrong........

Help would be "awesomeness", thanks.

E.D.

EDIT: Added screeny, look closely at the window......
And yes.... my pc does run it......

Ok.... I'm just running the test on one of the levels that didn't work properly.

I want to know if this is just in build game.

I'll let you know.

P.S. Pas the screeny is in the first post... I edited a minute before you posted I think

Ok..... It only happens in Build... not test.

I used all of the pre-built levels
(scifi-1 scifi-2 simple terrorstrike ww2)

in my build.

2 questions:

1) What OS?
2) What build settings?

What are your PC specs?
Processor, graphics card, ram etc.
To find these details (since you have directX) go to Start>Run>Type "dxdiag". Click open/run whatever it says.

Okaay............
It's a laptop with:

Intel(R) 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express chipset with 128 memory

1GB Ram

Windows XP

Intel Pentium M processor 1.7 GHZ

As I said, test level runs fine, and a couple of the levels of the build game worked fine aswell.

I have almost the exact same laptop (Aspire 1640)
Specs:

But I haven't had any problems with FPSCreator on my system. So I am sure its not the system itself.

Brilliant thanks Mick, that makes me feel loads better <- No sarcasm.... it's hard to tell online.

It's a shame that card doesn't support pixel shading isn't it .

Meh, can't expect too much from on board
Plays all the games I want to at work

The only thing I can think of is that those demo levels were built using EA / 1.0 version. Try opening them, saving them. Closing FPSC then reopening them.

I know there were some issues with older levels and the new FPSC which you had to save them into the new format.

O.K. thanks.

I'll see if my custom ones I'm building have the same problem.
Because as I said, not all of the demo levles had those problems.
