Put a skilled sculpter in front of a block of wood and give him a hammer and a set a chisels and he can produce a work of art.
Now take away his hammer and chisels and give him a Swiss army knife. He will still produce something impressive but it will take him much longer and require far more effort.
so, you are correct in saying it is not the tools you use but the skill you demonstrate that makes the end result what it is. However, it is quicker, easier and much more sensible to use the correct tools for the job.
Ms paint was never meant to be a professional paint package, a butter knife was never meant to be a screw driver and scissors were never meant to be used to mow your lawn. You could use them for these things ... but why?
