Dark GDK / does DB GDK allow for Normalmapping and specular mapping??

hi guys its been a while since ibeen here, i looked around for the given topic but couldnt find anything really helpful so i am asking you directly. I am a 3d artist doing models for a game (snowisland for those that have heard of it) doing a major overhaul and I would like to include normal-mapping and specular mapping as well as possibly ambient occlusion mapping. let me know if this is a feasible option. can DB GDK handle it? or make it look correct? thanx for any info you can muster regarding this topic.
