hi everyone

I'm pretty new to modelling..several months

This is my second model that i've made. Its a futuristic bomber/glider. its taken one to two months to make and, i admit, i suck at texturing (so any texturing tips will be really helpful)

thx

Fun model, some things that you could do is to add a streaky 'dirty' version of the textures to make it look less brand new. You can add some paint chipping, fading, and wear on the leading edges (expecially if the craft can enter the atmosphere as the wings imply.) Since the rocket exhaust has a good amount of flame to it, think about adding scorch and soot marks to the parts near the engine exhaust.

Also, look at conventional fighters and attack bombers and you'll find all kinds of details. Insignia, tail numbers, do not step/do not paint warnings, kill markers, and the occassional shark's teeth.

Curse you StrykerV....... You're confusing me by using my avatar .
But it looks pretty nice.

And if you own photoshop, you might aswell use it, or else use paint.net or gimp.

Well... go to www.google.com

Search for photoshop texturing tutorial/tutorials. (Don't actually search for tutorial/tutorials, choose which one you want )

Photoshop is very powerful if you know how to use it, you need it if you ever want to model profesionally
