what i do is mesh a plain or cube to the object then array it...

but im sure there is a better way.

What if the hokey pokey really IS what it's all about?

To tile a texture across an object use;

scale object texture objnum,x,y

For example, set x and y to 3 and you get texture shown 9 times on object in a 3 by 3 pattern

That IS how you tile an object. Code to prove it;

Maybe you are asking for something different but aren't explaining it properly. Give us a bit more info on what you are trying to achieve.

Thats what i want but with my texture it wont

i'll just switch to a different way of not making the walls seem too plain (cartoon shading)

Your image tiles just fine. The only problem is that the top and bottom of your image do not match and so is not properly tileable. You just need to match up the vertical lines of your bricks.

I'm still not sure what your actual problem is. Why not post a screenshot and explain what you would like.

We do like to help, but without seeing any code or any screenshot or proper explanation of what is wrong it is very difficult.
