So I make a level, test it in FPSC but then when I go to compile it, I get a totally different map.

Is like I am 4 stories Below the map.

Some of the objects are where they are supposed to be but the walls arent.

What version are you using?
Are you only using stock media?
What are your system specs?

Did it work fine in test game?

If you answer those someone (possibly me) will probably be able to help.

yes the test game looks good.

I am using mostly stock elements.

I am using 1.0 (I think) Has there been an update?

There have been 2 good updates. 1.04 is very stable, but 1.05 adds more features.... search the forums for both.

If after using one of those it still doesn't work, ask again .

In the build game menu, under the Level Settings tab, make sure that the name of your map is the one in the "Map Name" field.

Urm, V1.00 is the most stable version, it just lacks the features the other buggy versions have.

make sure you "save" the game you are testing before building it. SOunds simple enough but easy to forget to do because you test it and looks great ( with all current changes) but the build will use the last SAVED version

I just did a clean reinstall and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Something must have gotten moved/destroyed.
