i just started a new project for a new DLL, just set everything up - first thing i noticed after adding Dx is that the automatic pointer wasn't recognising the functions.

i though nm no biggie - well now i'm trying to compile it to test, and notice that the External dependancies
d3d9.h, d3d9caps.h & d3d9types.h haven't been added to the project like they should have (which as you can imagine the compiler is complaining that the interface i'm trying to access isn't there)

i'm not very literate when it comes to sorting out problems with the IDE itself, could anyone at all offer any possible solutions ... i activated safesource to see if that helped, but didn't

i'm going to copy what i want to use to the directly and hope that it links the library, but i've been having trouble with the DxSDK for a few days now ... when i first installed it to a directory that wasn't its base the examples refused to work and none would compile.
i've reinstalled to its base directory again and all the include/lib/source/media directories are setup in the compiler and directory structure - i don't understand what is going wrong

not really was just a stupid mistake in the first place... i really have to learn to consentrate more on a single task at a time - just a pitty i don't really have the time to when i need to.
