not a bad start. You need to fix the texturing on the lion head blocks so the sides don't show 2 parts of the lion. And maybe a bump map could really help the realism.

i just started using 3D World Studio and i haven't read up on anything about bump mapping yet

You can use fake bump mapping on the textures.

the texture maping on the roof is terable! the tiles are all pointing in the wrong direction. and all the edges are far to sharp, aply a bit of bevel to them

learn blender, you will never regret it.

can you do that in 3D World Studio? if so do you know any tutorials that explain it?

As far as i know you can't make real bump mapping on 3dws.But for example if you use a 2nd texture instead of 1st,your level should look better.It's just a trick that you can do it on photoshop or texture maker.Just apply some effects(via PS or TM) to your images,and use them for texturing your world...
