For pitch black shadows open up:

FPS Creator\Files\languagebank\gamebank\mygame\setuplevel.fpi

Open it in notepad and change ambience=25 to ambience=5 (or 10) if you set it to 0 you CANNOT see.

If you want 'realistic lighting' just shrink the range of the light. Then just place it in the appropriate places and presto the game looks alot better!

This also can be done while in FPSC editor: File > Build game > Level Settings and click "Edit" next to the "Global Script". From here change the ambience.

but it keeps standing erect. how do I make them stay flat?

You don't until TGC fixes the problem or releases the source code so we can fix it ourselves.

can't you just press the numbers 1 and 2 or 5 and 6 on your keyboard to rotate it other ways?

Yes, but when you start the game that wiley weapon will stand right back up!

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Yep.I even imported weapons into Milkshape, rotated them and exported them back into FPSC and they still stand up.
This is a known bug and TGC,as well as a few forum members, know about it.

And i'm one of the few.

I could've sworn that model pack 6 has scripts that make the guns lay down.

sure it'll make it say the wrong name, but at least it looks real.

OK I recommend you not to use full lightmapping because it adds a lot of time for how long it takes for the game to load like in several minutes. Just use quick lightmapping.

well, I figured out how to use pitch black.
and I'll have to live with erect weapons.

I would like a mod to lock this up, please.
