Hello DB community. Have any of you played Jet Set Radio Future? I was thinking of buying DB to make a spin-off of it. I would do most of the models and animate, do my own textures, i would make most of the music for my game giving it that techno/pop feel but also adding death metal and rock to it. I would have it to were you get to graffitti things but I\'d add a whole lot more to gameplay and possibly new tricks. I\'m looking to create massive enviorments and puzzles. I might even add a shoot \'em up feature. Tell me what you think.

Cool ambitious idea, But it would need you to learn the language.
Do you have any knowlage of other programing languages.
If you don't then there is no way you can start off with soething like that. I've been programing for about 3 years now and I am nowhere close to doing something like that. If you want to learn look at the tutorials.

Nothing is impossible...
No really, it is.

That's where I'm going to hopefully team up with someone who is pro at scripting and coding. I'm just learning some code but I can texture, and I'm starting to model people. I can make my own music have a pro feel to them. I really loved that game and I've been wanting to do this for years now. The only thing I was thinking about not involving was the radio station part but IDK maybe. Even if there was no radio station, I'd still add the killer music.
Looking foward to more replies. I know you're looking. Now just give me a message.

When I read "Jet Set Radio Future" in the forum overview, I had to check it out eventhough it's in the DB classic forum.
I love(d) this game, I used to spent hours playing it on the Xbox or just had it run to listen to the music. But so much about the game. Just as NanoGamez said, this is a very ambitous idea. I hope you are aware of the scope of such a project. I don't know if you have any coding background, whatever language it should be. Finding someone here who would do the coding for you is rather unlikely. It's more likely to get help if your project is well on it's way and you can offer screenshots etc..
I don't want to discourage you. But I also don't want you to come to a point where you think you have reached a dead end because you lack knowledge/ experience.
In anyway, I wish you good luck

I love(d) it also. I know it might be unlikely but I'm planning on making this commercial if I purchase DB and iving my partner(s) a reasonable percentage of the profit. It know it will take time and I'd be willing to do so.
