Okay, this is my first gun iv ever made, it is a desert eagle: here are 4 screenshots. The first 2 are different views and the last 2 are wire frame and the 4th one is what it would look like in game position:

I will post more screenies of other models / or this textured (after i can figure out texturing)

Please comment,

i'm sorry but it is a cardboard cut out gun. if you want good advice, here it is get reference photos at different angles so you know the gun looks like in real life. don't model from a gun you see in games thats just redoing his mistakes. I hope this was helpful.

you can live with a man for all his days, but you really find what he really is like when hold him over a volcano

how is that a cardboard cut out.
A cut out is with it all sharp on all the sides and no different depths

It's a cutout because the only differing depth you gave it was to squeeze some things in after you cut it out.

This is an example of what is not a cutout.

It's good enough to put in NPCs' hands.

Since the other one was scaring you guys so much...

3rd image in furst post

the gun would only be that cloce to your body if your hand was atached directly to your sholder!

put your arm in a shooting position and see how mutch of your arm you can actualy see, its at least 3/4 of the arm

learn blender, you will never regret it.

It doesn't have anything wrong with it, IMO the depth is just right, any more and it'll look like a brick.
